MARIE PARTNER VISITS HRC

Colchester United Chief Executive, Marie Partner, visited the studios recently where she was a guest on Penney McAvoy's Mersea Island Discs programme. Marie chatted about a variety of subjects and gave some very interesting insights into the running of a professional Football Club. She also played some of her favourite music tracks one of which was 'Up On The Roof' which she said reminded her of the Hospital Radio Colchester commentary position!
There is a very long term relationship between Colchester United and Hospital Radio Colchester - in fact, HRC was first formed for the purpose of broadcasting commentary of matches to local hospitals and she was pleased to know that work is going on behind the scenes to ensure this continues in the new stadium.
After the show, Marie had a tour of the studios and congratulated the Hospital Radio Team for the work that they do. She promised to return again in the future should time permit.
