STUDENTS FROM SIEGEN VISIT

Hospital Radio Colchester were again pleased to welcome German students and staff to the studio on Tuesday evening. The students are part of a larger group who are visiting England. They visited from Siegen (which is near Cologne) and attend the Evangelisches Gymnasium.
Whilst in the studio they learned about Hospital Radio Colchester and had a tour of the studios to see how programmes are produced and sent to the hospitals. They were guests on the programme 'Colchester Live' and as well as practicing their English being interviewed by Andy Patrick, they taught the listeners some German! World Cup football was discussed and the students picked two of their favourite records to be played.
This is the fifth year that a group of students have visited Hospital Radio Colchester in what has now become an enjoyable annual event for all.
