COLCHESTER FIRESWIM 2006
30th September / 1st October 2006
This years Colchester Fireswim takes place on Saturday 30th September and Sunday October 1st 2006 and Hospital Radio Colchester will be participating on 2 fronts.
SWIMMING: We have a lane booked to Swim at 5pm on Saturday and will have a team of 6 swimmers and 2 non-swimmers to swim in a relay for 1 hour (55 minutes). Apart from representing HRC the team will also be raising money for the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund and other nominated local charities.
ROADSHOW: We will be running the Hospital Radio Colchester Roadshow for the full 24 hours (10am Saturday - 10am Sunday) providing pool side entertainment and helping to keep the event running. This will be the 9th year HRC has provided the entertainment! We we will broadcast LIVE to the wards at various times throughout the event.
The Fireswim, which is sponsored by Plumbase, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year so if you get chance to pop down and lend your support we would be pleased to see you.
