Colchester United and Hospital Radio Colchester will once again team up to bring a live commentary service for all U's home games to the Colchester General Hospital.
This service has been in place for nearly sixty years now, with Hospital Radio Colchester first bringing hospital patients the latest news from U's games since 1953.
Ronnie Smyth, Hospital Radio Colchester's Football Commentary team leader said: "The HRC team are waiting with anticipation to see how the season unfolds under John and the team.
"We are looking forward to being able to relay all of the action to our listeners in hospital, so that they will not miss a single piece of action from all U's home games
"To top that all off, it's absolutely free of charge to listen to Hospital Radio Colchester whilst you're in hospital, so we hope you enjoy our service."
If you know of any U's fans or even anyone local who will be in hospital over the coming season and you would like to give them a mention, then if you see any of the Hospital Radio Colchester Volunteers, give them the details and they will endeavour to read them out for you.
