Firewim Goes Bowling!

The Hospital Radio Colchester team were in action at one of the events we have been associated with for many years - the Colchester Fire Swim. However, with the pool out of action this year the event was switched to ten pin bowling on Cowdray Avenue.
Station members kept the bowlers entertained for the event which raises money for the firefighters charity as well as local charities, groups and deserving causes. We also had our own team of bowlers taking part!
Andy Thompson, organiser of the roadshow commented that "it was good to see the event continuing whilst the pool was out of action and see everyone participating in this long running event. For 2010 the event will return to the refurbished swimming pool at Leisureworld."
