COMMENTARY TEAM READY FOR NEW SEASON
24th July 2007
The Hospital Radio Colchester commentary team are all set for a new season under the leadership of Ronnie Smyth. Dave Buckingham, Godfrey Thomas and Ted Dwan continue to provide the service with Ronnie for each and every home U's match - something that Hospital Radio Colchester has been providing since the 50's!
The HRC team are excited to be commentating on Teddy Sheringham as he signed a one year deal to play for Colchester United having turned down other offers and being impressed by owner Robbie Cowling and listening to the plans of manager George Williams. He will be taking the No. 8 shirt which is the shirt worn by the late Dave Simmons of the famous 1971 FA side.
Hospital Radio Colchester continues to provide a service within Layer Road for blind and partially sighted fans - contact the club for details on how to book these seats.
Join the commentary team on channel 1 in the hospital for full match commentary for each home game for what is likely to be that last season from our vantage point high in the stands at Layer Road.
