HRC BANNER FLIES HIGH AT LAYER ROAD

If you visit Layer Road and look up to the TV gantry you will see a 20 foot banner displaying the name of Hospital Radio Colchester!
Thanks to the kindness and support of the club we have been able to display our name to help promote the hospital service to the people of Colchester.
We have been broadcasting radio programmes to Colchester hospitals since 1953 and currently broadcast each match live to the listeners in the Colchester General and Essex County hospitals. As part of the 24 hour service we provide we visit and play requests for more than 3000 people each year as well as covering all home games.
We also provide the facility to allow blind and partially sighted supporters to have full match commentary whilst in the ground.
